“The problem of our community is drug use and trafficking. We want to keep young people away from drugs and improve their lives. These will be done by promoting percussion workshops, dance, theatre and circus activities and courses.  By learning a new skill young people will build up their self steam.”

Tony is one of the five members of Banda Makala, a percussion group from Brazil that aims to empower young people by giving them the opportunity to express themselves through music and arts performances.
