Vorsak and his team focus on HIV/AIDS and Primary Health Care.

 “We select the youth and the children in the community that live close to the problems.” They are aware of challenges and major problems in their communities and they receive training as peer educators.

For Vorsak, OIYP2004 provided the chance to meet young people from all over the world and to share experiences with each other.  According to Vorsak’s experience in his home country, people usually don’t think so much of themselves as part of a community. Their individual interests are more important for them. Vorsak said he could bring the vision of OIYP back to his community.

“It is changing right now. The people begin to understand that they need to solve the problems together.”
